 The glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle..

Exodus 40:34

A tabernacle is a special kind of tent, specifically one used to house the Ark of the Covenant. It crops up in today’s Orthodox liturgy because Mary is the living tabernacle, providing a home on earth for God’s Son.
