Bewitched!

So it is that time of year again. The Halloween 👻🎃 goods are in the shops & eikaiwa are focusing their efforts on words like 'pumpkin' & 'broomstick'. Even today on Japanese TV I caught a reference to "white" witches- though admittedly that was from an English programme. I don't know when exactly witchery become cool amongst foolish folk, I suspect the 60s(?) TV show might have had something to do with it,  (& Harry Potter more recently) but for a slightly more realistic portrayal I suggest you read or watch the great tragedy from Shakespeare, Macbeth. Witches are never the good guys in reality. I should know- I've met one, & I'm not talking about online on Instagram. In Bristol, actually, back around 1991 or so. A rather messed up Welsh gay guy searching for a spirituality that he didn't feel condemned by. What he failed to understand is that you can't change God's rules to suit yourself.

The Philistines towards the West.. Isaiah 11:14 It is hard to support Boris sending 6000 missiles to help Ukraine when his government is also pushing for yet more LGBT+ "rights". Don't get me wrong, Labour is worse, but I can't support Russian soldiers being killed by my government. What has Russia seriously ever done to the UK apart from helping save us from Hitler in WW2?

 Witnesses of these things..  Acts 5:32 Leftists are funny people. They trust bent lawyers & porn stars if they talk smack about people they hate, but they don’t trust saints, apostles & Holy Mother Church when it tells them about Jesus, the Best Man of All. Seriously, 😳 how bad a judge of character is your average Dem voter?  But it’s not just left wingers. Why would you trust someone on the internet or on TV, or who writes for a newspaper or magazine, or someone you happen to have a blood relationship with, or someone you went to school with, more than God’s Holy Words in the Bible?
