So the Assyrians died out, just as God said. Looking at the 4 countries left in the WBC, who is Assyria? (Clearly I was wrong about Italy, but thanks partly to Japan's strict sports betting laws, I lost no money.) Of the teams left, it seems to me Cuba & America are more Assyria like. Cuba is a totalitarian regime where basic human rights are denied. And America is a large powerful country that currently ignores the Bible and crushes smaller countries from time to time. While Japan, like Assyria, has persecuted & invaded God's people in the past it is much more democratic today. In Catholic Mexico, priests are still shot, but how much that is specific targeting or part of wider endemic cartel violence I can't say. I predict a Mexico USA final but as you have seen I've been wrong before. Japan remains a very strong team but they are now playing in Miami, not Tokyo. You could argue that the most Assyrian team, China, is already out.
