Do we begin again to commend ourselves?

2 Corinthians 3:1

I find it interesting that attacks on British Imperial history are ramping up now that much of the former Empire has had many decades to rule themselves. Let's take Hong Kong, the most recent cast off. Are the people of HK better off under communist China than they were under us Brits? I think not. Easy to complain, harder to rule.
