Saints

He makes intercession for the saints..
Romans 8:27

So today is the feast of St Botolph, an abbot from way back, who died around 680 AD. He had a sweet & affable disposition, which is one of the reasons he is a saint & most of us are not. Why should you care? Well, where he lived is now a town named after him: Boston, in the very East of England (much further east & you're in the North Sea, The Wash to be precise). And of course the much larger & more famous Boston in America is named after the one in Lincolnshire, in England.
The reason I care about St Bo is that my parish church in Heene, West Sussex, where I lived until 1999 is named after him. Rather a nice church with really great music.

 Witnesses of these things..  Acts 5:32 Leftists are funny people. They trust bent lawyers & porn stars if they talk smack about people they hate, but they don’t trust saints, apostles & Holy Mother Church when it tells them about Jesus, the Best Man of All. Seriously, 😳 how bad a judge of character is your average Dem voter?  But it’s not just left wingers. Why would you trust someone on the internet or on TV, or who writes for a newspaper or magazine, or someone you happen to have a blood relationship with, or someone you went to school with, more than God’s Holy Words in the Bible?
