Mighty

He who is mighty has done great things for me, & holy is His name.
Luke 1:49

This is in the Russian Orthodox liturgy for today. Putin is good at being mighty, being holy not so much. But Boris & Biden aren't much better, & in some ways much worse. Putin et al forget I think that God is Almighty. Putin may be one of the most successful political figures of our age, certainly one of the longest reigning, but He will never outmanoeuvre God Himself.

They trust bent lawyers & porn stars if they talk smack about people they hate, but they don’t trust saints, apostles & Holy Mother Church when it tells them about Jesus, the Best Man of All. Seriously, 😳 how bad a judge of character is your average Dem voter?  But it’s not just left wingers. Why would you trust someone on the internet or on TV, or who writes for a newspaper or magazine, or someone you happen to have a blood relationship with, or someone you went to school with, more than God’s Holy Words in the Bible?
