Poor Maya Angelou. I sold the 4th volume of her remarkable autobiography 'The Heart of a Woman' today to a 2nd hand bookstore in Tenjin for only 5 yen. One of the most famous female African American writers is virtually worthless here in Japan, it seems. It's true my copy was somewhat dog eared and creased, but as we say in English, Don't Judge a book by its cover! We are all guilty of that, though, aren't we?

They trust bent lawyers & porn stars if they talk smack about people they hate, but they don’t trust saints, apostles & Holy Mother Church when it tells them about Jesus, the Best Man of All. Seriously, 😳 how bad a judge of character is your average Dem voter?  But it’s not just left wingers. Why would you trust someone on the internet or on TV, or who writes for a newspaper or magazine, or someone you happen to have a blood relationship with, or someone you went to school with, more than God’s Holy Words in the Bible?
